Greetings VillageFest Friends,

It is time to think about VillageFest 2015, let’s celebrate our amazing community within the Twin Cities!   VillageFest activities will be July 31 – August 2nd and will include fun for the entire family! The fun includes a 5K, one mile Tot Trot, Parade, Petting Zoo, and Bouncy Houses, Silent Auction, Vendor Fair, Live Entertainment, Bingo, and Fireworks to name a few!   And this year it will end with a Kiwanis LUNCHEON and art show featuring local artists on Sunday.

VillageFest is a non-profit and community-run organization that looks to a variety of sources for contributions to make this celebration a success. We have activities for children, teens, adults and seniors. This is the only festival in town that has something for everyone, and we rely 100% on donations and volunteers. We are kindly requesting your generous support. Your donation will help offset the costs incurred for VillageFest. We are looking for merchandise we can auction off in the Silent Auction, merchandise we can sell in one of our booths- such as cases of soda, or, of course, cash donations. Financial support goes directly to our budget to support the expenses of the festival, and any merchandise or other items will be used for the Silent Auction to aid in our fundraising at the event.

If you are interested in donating something for the Silent Auction- you can donate an already made themed basket, or items to make a basket. We are also looking for items people can bid on such as gift certificates for merchandise, tickets to events, or items from your business.

All donors will be publicly thanked in the newspaper, at the festival, and on our web-site. Donations of cash or merchandise of $250-$499 will guarantee you and/or your business a spot in the Parade on Friday evening. Your name and/or business will also be listed on the parade schedule handed out Friday evening. Donations of cash or merchandise equaling $500 or more will guarantee you and/or your business the above plus your logo on our web-site and a spot at the vendor fair on Saturday.

If you are willing to give a cash sponsorship of $1,000 or over- you will be given credit for sponsoring an event. Some options are the Children’s DJ, one of the three bands, the Parade, Bingo, Teen Center, or Pop Tent. We would need to have a commitment from you by 6/27 in order to get your name on our literature–which would include our web-site, the parade line-up documents, the schedule of events in the paper, and on our t-shirts. If you and/or your business would like to make a cash donation, we have an online option this year! Any merchandise donation may be dropped off at City Hall during business hours- or please call one of us listed below to coordinate pick up.

CALLING ALL VENDORS AND PARADE ENTHUSIASTS! We hope to grow our Vendor Fair and Parade participation this year. Want to get your name out there? Are you a new business in the area? Would you like to sponsor a child-related activity on Saturday afternoon? The Parade and Vendor Fair is just the place for you! If this sounds like something you and/or your business is interested in- there is information on our website!

In an effort to save paper and lower our costs – our applications are now on-line. You may access the applications here: Vendor registration, Parade Participant registration. Please email the filled out form to us at the address below, and go to the “shop” link to pay the registration fee.

Finally, we are continuing our efforts to go strictly to email correspondence. Please include your e-mail on your donation form, or send us an e-mail at stanthonyvillagefest@gmail.com and we will update our information.
